thanks, i sure hope the color will look good, on it once its painted, the grille could be better but its hard not to shack with a engraver

i say paint the whole chassis.

thats what im thinking of doing, i just dont want a completely black chassis

then don't do a completely black chassis....do a black and yellow chassis to match the body. paint all the orange parts black and all the gray parts yellow.

Nice project dude! try using flat black for the chassis and if you use flat black on the body, later you can use Smoke (transperant black) to make it shine like crazy :bigwink:.

its not perfect but who cares thats pretty much just a seal

going to wet sand it with 1200 let it dry real good and paint it yellow

looking good so far and thew yellow on the orange peices looks good just get it more yellow i can kinda see the oronge still.but looking good so far:)

thanks, i have added a few more coats of yellow to the rear and the plate over the electronics, just forgot to take pics of it

if i was you i would spray paint the body.. in my opinion spray paint looks better than hand paint... same for air brush... but i would do air brush or a can :-)... looks good so far

i plan to airbrush the body, i havent hand painted a body in a long time,

i think it looks sickkkkk....very nice work. do you have any bodies that are stock color lol i like your view on paint schemes
