Awsome, I wish I could do body work like that. I did just purchase some styrene and putty yesterday... Im gonna start getting into the body work stuff and hopefully after some practice I can do some nice work like your S2000. I have been, and will continue to watch this thread. Nice photos, keep them coming.
Thanks XXX! Can't wait to see what you gonna comes up with the putty and styrene!

Nice!

Give it that Mugen/Spoon Hardtop roof! Maybe a DMAX style hood, and maybe an intake hole in the bottom right center of the front bumper.

deckerz 10-07-2009 07:54 PM

wow man looking like a really clean build.

where can i get mini-z rims except atomicmods?
i searched google mini-z mr-01 rims and cant find any...

Dr. Kustom 10-08-2009 07:19 AM

Thanks guys! I wouldn't add those Mugen parts in this one though, I want to keep it all Amuse. As for the rims, try to look for the MA-010 rims on ebay, EGR, RCmart, tinyrc, etc.

Update: Finished making both side's mirrors.

Amazing bodywork! I too would like to see the addition of the hardtop. I think it makes S2k's look far better in my opinion. Just remember do the Honda justice!;)

Dr. Kustom 10-19-2009 10:05 PM

Thanks DRFTKO! I would like to make to make this one looks as close as the Amuse S2000 GT1, but if I do get another S2000 body, I will go for with the hardtop look for sure.

Update: Took it outside...

Update: Spend some time on the hood, and sand down the front bumper a bit to make it looks more aggressive.

i was more thinking 1 minute of sanding verses 1 hour of sanding. lol

M0DEL 01-02-2010 12:43 PM

True true, lol (:

texan_idiot25 01-02-2010 04:22 PM

I am staggered by your attention to detail. The body lines in that nose has all sorts of complex angles and lines, especially where the fenders flare up around the hood, and you've nailed them perfectly and with crisp clean edges to boot.
