well my other guess, was it replaces the badge inbetween the tail ilghts... but it looked to small and the wrong shape. ill keep pondering on this though. interesting.

You guys are close.... its actually based off of the design of the rear gas cap / medallion but nope thats not it.....

mybe something to do with the antena, or a center cap for a rim, or fog lights?

and spitfire takes first place.... its an antenna base cover... it will painted either black or windveil blue and goes right over the top of the current ugly black base.....

Yes I know I could have just resprayed the base but this is much more unique.....

It just looks so big in the pic i wrote off the antenna cover.. oh well

well one way to tell scale, look at the back ground pic
theres a keybord, the base antena realy isnt realy that
big.

It looks some 4 keys wide, way too wise for an antenna cover, which is normally 1.5 inches or so, thier tiny.

But, oh well. lol

The scale is thrown off with the keyboard in the background for multiple reasons.... here is the shot of the prototype, maybe it will help:

OK... so... finally... progress... :)

Called the Body shop last Tuesday expecting car to be done... it wasn't!! Told them I would be out of state Wednesday so it had to be ready for Thursday morning as I was going out of state again Thursday afternoon...

Called Thursday morning and to my amazement it was actually done... :) Yay!!

So anyways go check out the first thread for two new photos of the striped car and new wing.... Unfortunately when I picked the car up it was raining solid and as I said a few hours later I had to leave for Texas... I'll try and get some more next weekend as I'm going out of state again tomorrow for the whole week.....

And I used it in the context like saying I'm not a boob-man or honda-man or something of the sort. In this case, the wing on his car, I'm not much of a wing-man, wings on the car..
