Zippo, I'm pretty jealous of that awesome blue Z. Did you get it as a body or did you get a whole German starter kit?? If you got it with chassis, is there any difference in a German chassis? I'm also loving the GPM chassis, not so big on the gold, but what color are the other parts? They don't look silver, too dark.

That's a great idea except that it would cost that much to get just one. Unless you know someone in Germany who will ship at a reasonable cost. The only place I've found that will ship to US wants 65 EUR for shipping, add 64 EUR for car and body kit and you're at $180US. Not a good business formula.

I like the evo gpm too,I love anodised alloy parts and I love evo's too, great combination.

the orange ones are nice, but everyone has them. not too many blue zs around. i'd say get it if you get the chance. and i'm loving the alloy as well.

you would lose money as xmodcanuck said. shipping is outrageous from there. i was looking at the b,x lexan bodies. under 20 bucks for the body. but almost 100 bucks to ship here.

not quite. i bought the z for 150$ with a chassie. and i sold just a roller the body and body kit to zippo. if he wants to share the price then he can lol :D

why share prices? lol. it ws a good deal none the less. and i'm thinking i have a blue alloy chassis that will look sweet under this anyway.

as 123 said its a roller chassis. looking at them closer i think its gold and gunmetal. not exactly sure. i'll be able to answer that better once my other gunmetal stuff shows up.

and i found these 1/32 tamiya toys at the hs. they're 4wd and pretty cool. i'm thinking i can rob the wheels off of it for a truck, and mount the body on a custom chassis. its an isuzu thats waiting for a paint job.

had some new parts show up today. scored a bunch of body kits, and then decided to organize my body kits some. sorted most out, then the last 2 bags have misc stuff. lost interest in sorting quickly. lol. i'll come back to them later. and then i need to do my truck body kits as well. free up some room in the parts cabinet. sadly it was running outta room. hopefully by removing the body ktis from it i can put some loose bodies i have in there.

start off with the ones i got today from over the pond and some rims i got from goodfellaz
http://i284.photobucket.com/albums/l...5/100_2734.jpg
then i got down my nib body kits

http://i284.photobucket.com/albums/l...5/100_2739.jpg
heres where they get stored. luckily the wife cant reach these shelves, so they became mine. lol

well, it's beginning to look a lot like christmas. lol felt like it. the wife said that 2 boxes and an envelope showed up in the mail today, i got to thinking, can they really be here already :) yay!!!
acme stencil chassis with full red and silver alloy, 4 sets of alloy rims, a bunch of truck gpm, some car gpm, another 350z, scion, and some body kit parts and what not. also got some asc bodies, but you gotta wait to see those in the mini z gallery. i'll add them shortly. got a couple plasmadash motors, a stacked nelly, and some other misc pieces.

i got 3 days off to work on all sorts of stuff, and organize my parts cabinet better

I love that full alum chassis (red). The gold one is lookin sweet too.
This might be a lil personal.. About how much do you have in those?
The reason I ask is, I'm lookin to build a full alum. chassis and I just kinda want to know what I'm getting into..

i got these chassis in trades and good deals. usually if you bargain hunt on ebay and look for sales from different places you can drop from 80-130 depending on how of deals you get. some of the rarer colors, black etc. you can drop 150 or more. and then it just depends on what kinda chassis plate you put under them. like the x.i. aluminum chassis were 30 bucks. and ive seen knock of stilettos as cheap as like 15 bucks on ebay. but the atomic ones are a bit higher than that.

Nice collection, I wish I had the monies to do that. Where'd you get the black Escalade body in that first pic.

Zebra 09-06-2009 03:32 PM

You can never have too many toys I always say.
Like you said, there's never enough time though.

exactly. the ideal amount of toys is more than you can play with ;)

well i was thinking how can i make this gold look so much better? well i went to the hardware store and picked up some screws that i found will work with the gpm screw holes. got everything installed. and also paired my gold swing arms with this also. and decided to put it on the extenda chassis

heres some drooling pics. i need to get some aluminum polish and clean the chassis back up from my fingerprints.
